The second edition of the loud and adrenaline-fuelled fEAST, the only showcase of Romanian alternative music in Britain, kicks off in October with a line-up of the most charismatic Romanian rock and electro groups: Gojira, Robin and The Backstabbers, Shadowbox, Moon Museum, Şuie Paparude, Coma, Byron, Phoenix, E.M.I.L., and The Blue Nipple Boy.
Romanian violonist Bogdan Văcărescu is preparing an album dedicated to almost forgotten violin and piano pieces. Among them, there are pieces such as “The Zephyr” composed by Jeno Hubay, as well as those by Dvorak, Brahms and Beethoven. Through this album, the artist wants to promote a special violin school that had as representatives personalities like George Enescu and Vasile Filip.

The 15th edition of the George Enescu International Competition will be organized in 2016 and represents a special opportunity for young musicians worldwide to assert themselves. The competition is part of the prestigious „George Enescu” International Festival artistic framework, it is affiliated to the World Federation of International Music Competitions and serves as an international golden chance for young musicians.
