Romanian Ministry of Public Finance

On 30 May 2016, the Romanian Ministry of Public Finance announced the opening of a new application session for funding, under the agreement of the Government Resolution 807/2014. This represents the establishment of a State Aid scheme for investments that have a major impact on the economy, with future changes and additions, which will run from 11.07 – 22.08.2016.The budget of this session is 638 million RON, 50% higher compared to the previous one. http://dpiis.gov.ro/new_dpiis/state-aid-schemes-2/

In January 2016p, the balance-of-payments current account posted a surplus of EUR 168 million, as compared with EUR 311 million in January 2015. The secondary income balance and the services balance recorded higher surpluses (by EUR 173 million and EUR 57 million, respectively), while the goods balance registered an increase of the deficit by EUR 196 million and the primary income balance saw its surplus turning to a deficit. http://www.bnr.ro/page.aspx?prid=11336

Financial Supervisory Authority
